#10. Vintage Film Effect

A quick and easy way to transform an image back in time with a vintage film effect.

Sometimes it seems that no matter how advanced the medium of digital photography gets, we still have a strong affection for the old style colour renderings and techniques.

This week I have applied a very nice Vintage Film effect to give an image a strong sense of place and feeling. What's great about this technique is that it is little more than one click away with the help of a downloadable Photoshop action.

Head over to the great FlickR technique forum to get this very handy tool created by user Fallout75.

Conclusion
I love this effect and it is so easy and versatile. Effortlessly strips 30-40 years of a colour photo to add rich character.
