Bang Kachao
Bang Kachao is a conservation area located in a large oxbow of the Chao Phraya River just south of the Thai capital Bangkok in Phra Pradaeng District of Samut Prakan Province. Designated as a green area since 1977, the area, covering 20 square kilometres (7.7 sq mi), is mainly used for agriculture, and has gained a reputation as "the lungs of Bangkok".
