Popular Goals
The Dahlak Archipelago is an island group located in the Red Sea near Massawa, Eritrea. It consists of two large and 124 small islands. The pearl fisheries of the archipelago have been famous since Roman times and still produce a substantial number of pearls. Only four of the islands are permanently inhabited, of which Dahlak Kebir is the largest and most populated.
Asmara, the capital city of Eritrea, offers a unique blend of Italian colonial architecture and African charm, making it a fascinating destination for travelers. Visitors can stroll along Harnet Avenue, enjoying its art deco buildings and lively cafes, or explore the city's history at the National Museum. The bustling markets provide an opportunity to experience local culture and cuisine, while a visit to the nearby Asmara Cathedral offers a glimpse into the city’s religious heritage. For those interested in architecture, the Fiat Tagliero Building is a must-see, showcasing futuristic designs from the early 20th century.

Asmara
Various Eritrean cities have kept the marks of Italian colonialism. That is the case of Asmara, the colonial capital under the Italian occupation. When they left the country in 1941, they left behind a bit of Italy, today coloured by the bougainvilleas and the palm trees."
