Lomé, the bustling capital of Togo, offers a unique blend of cultural richness and coastal charm. Visitors can explore the bustling Grand Marché, where vibrant textiles and local crafts are abundant, or take a stroll along the palm-fringed beaches that line the city's coast. The Togo National Museum provides insights into the country's history and traditions, while the Fetish Market offers a glimpse into traditional African spiritual practices. With its lively music scene and diverse culinary offerings, Lomé is a city full of experiences waiting to be discovered.
Togoville is a town in southern Togo, lying on the northern shore of Lake Togo. It was originally known as Togo. The country took its name from the town of Togoville when Gustav Nachtigal signed a treaty with the town's chief, Mlapa III, in 1884, from which Germany claimed overlordship over what became Togo.
Kéran National Park is located in the north of Togo, in the Kara area. There is only one road going through this area. Not many tourists visit Togo as the main national parks are more accessible in Ghana. Many of the elephants found in this national park keep wandering into Ghana.
