We had a record snowfall here in Maryland this past weekend (1/22-23/2016). Something like 29 inches! It was the most snow I've ever had in one go (it snowed for 24 hours straight!).
We didn't make this igloo/cave/fort/what-have-you until the 25th though because the snow was so powdery, it was too hard to pack. But then we were running out of time because it all was melting very fast, so this was as much as we could do in just one day, but we totally could have made it even bigger if we'd had more time or started earlier, since we had so much snow!
