1/5/2021 - yoga for the service industry. did after a 6 hour waitressing shift as i felt very achey. i feel like it helped me transition out of the work mindset as well and like i can achieve more this evening.
2/5/2021 - started home series by yoga with adrienne. day 1 - recognise.
3/5/2021 - day 2 - intention. found it hard to set an intention that i felt comfortable with.
4/5/2021 - day 3 - awaken. very difficult process. on period, muscles ache, headache coming, feel weak with no sense of balance. However, I felt better and more centred by the end of the practice.
5/5/2021 - day 4 - activate. felt really good today. felt strong, and it made me feel calmer and more motivated.
6/5/2021 - day 5 - soften. felt very overwhelmed today so it was nice to make some space and reset. sometimes feel i am not strong enough to do some of the poses but i suppose this will improve
7/5/2021 - day 6 - ignite. left really late which was stupid because now i'm tired. at one point she said "don't think. do you trust me?" which - titanic quote! but also it got easier after that? I think i expend more mental energy than i need to and it makes me tense and makes things more difficult.
8/5/2021 - day 7 - stretch
9/5/2021 - day 8 - heal - i feel like the hardest work she asks me to do is the emotional work. it can be really overwhelming and it feels like you're fighting with the whole world to do it.
10/5/2021 - day 9 - inquire. found this difficult. my arms are so weak!!
11/5/2021 - day 10 - ground
12/5/2021 - day 11 - dig
13/5/2021 - day 12 - nurture. lovely
14/5/2021 - day 13 - grow.
15/5/2021 - day 14 - return. loved this one. a bit hard on the hips, but was nice to take it slow and make sure each pose was accurate
16/5/2021 - day 15 - reset - sweaty but fun!
17/5/2021 - day 16 - savour - one of my favourites so far, very centreing
18/5/2021 - day 17 - synchronize - nice to connect with breath. felt stiff after work
19/5/2021 - day 18 - believe - difficult! proper powered through though, quite proud
20/5/2021 - day 19 - balance - knackered luvs
21/5/-2021 - day 20 - still
22/5/2021 - day 21 - boost - loved this one! more relaxing with a bit of push. perfect after a days work
23/5/2021 - day 22 - stir - it was good. i can feel myself getting frustrated when i find things difficult though
24/5/2021 - day 23 - focus - i think i prefer the practices where you move through the poses quickly
25/5/2021 - day 24 - uplift
26/5/2021 - day 25 - unwind. needed this so much, it was lovely
27/5/2021 - day 26 - keep. liked this one a lot. clicky hips!
28/5/2021 - day 27 - integrate. sweaty but fun
