I was in the audience for the First Tuesday Book Club on their visit to Melbourne during the Melbourne Writers Festival. I emailed as soon as I heard about it to try to book tickets, and it worked!
I went to the ABC studios on Gordon Street where Jennifer Byrne hosted a discussion of HHhH and Middlemarch (which I've read). It was interesting to watch the discussion both live, and on the TV screens around us showing what the TV would show.
