50 Questions
1) How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?
Before I started trying to lose the weight, I might have said 55. Climbing the stairs to my job on the fourth floor would leave me out of breath. Now I would probably say 35 and trending downward.I walk the dog every day, usually play tennis a couple times a week and run a couple times a week and I'm nearing 10K shape.
2) Which is worse, failing or never trying?
I would be a liar if I said I didn't HATE to fail but not hitting the mark if you know you seriously tried at your utmost is far less painful than coming up short.
3) If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do?
My answer tends to revolve around money. Many of the things I would like to do...such as visiting European landmarks (Stonehenge), the pyramids, etc...require money and that tends to not be in enough supply.
4) When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?
I am achieving more of these these days..doing the Day Zero Project is helping with that..but my answer to #3 is making some of this harder to "do" than to "say".
5) What is the one thing you’d most like to change about the world?
Illiteracy is such a barrier to achievement and sentence to poverty. I would like to see the elimination of illiteracy.
